I want to learn how to simulate cracks and failure in a simple masonry wall (simulating the paper below)

However, I am very new to abaqus and couldn't find any tutorial about this online. Are there any recommendations on how I should start proceeding this ?

In Ansys, Fatigue Crack Growth Analysis can be carried out using SMART Crack Growth. To get started, you may refer to below materials:

We can not help with that you mention, but if you would like to use Ansys then see below.
Fracture and smart growth mentioned in the post above can not be used on masonry type of materials.
