SubscriberHi all,
I've been trying to import CAD files (CATIA v5, STEP, Spaceclaim) and nothing works. Licensing should not be an issue since I have the correct licenses set up and simulation capabilities are available when I sketch a new part or use one of the learning examples. When I open a STEP or any CAD file in Spaceclaim that works, but if I convert a CAD to a Spaceclaim file and try to open in Discovery that fails with no error message.Â
I've tried the CAD configuration setting through the ANSYS CAD Config manager. Any ideas what could be wrong here?
Thanks.

Forum ModeratorHi,Â
If I understood this clearly, you are able to open step, Catia V5 other cad file types in SpaceClaim without any issue. The problem is when importing in Discovery?Â
Which version of SpaceClaim and Discovery are you using here?
Regards,
DevendraÂ
