Problem: When opening Discovery Spaceclaim/Live, you may encounter a blank screen with an error message reading “Failed to create OpenGL/Direct3D11”
Cause: As per the general hardware requirements for Discovery products, a dedicated graphics card capable of supporting OpenGL4.5 and DirectX11 or higher API is required. Not only a supported API should be available, it should also be selected for rendering under settings.
Recommended Solution: Appropriate renderer type should be selected from SpaceClaim/Live options, under the “Advance” tab
Close any open session and relaunch the application to solve the issue.
