      Some key points: 1.Unlike the BISO model, MISO does not calculate or use a tangent modulus property directly in the derivation of stress and strain. 2.Increase in force combined with the reduction in cross-sectional area can exceed the slope of the multi-linear hardening curve. 3. From there stiffness decrease without bound (i.e. necking) might occur.
