      For overcoming the convergence difficulties: 1. Try reducing the angle/ distance between two parts before going for impact analysis – this helps in reducing the applied load 2. Reduce the FKN (Normal Stiffness Factor) value in the contact settings 3. Try running your model with impact constraints. Using Impact Constraints help a lot with these as to not add artificial energy to rebounding impactor. 4. Increase the no. of sub steps Please refer to the model attached.
