Problem: Preview of scdoc files in Windows Explorer not showing upCause: This is mainly caused due to some dlls missing which are responsible for previewing scdoc files
Recommended solution:
1. Go to C:WindowsSystem32 and check if file D3DX9_43.dll is available or not. If not, please download it from the attached folder and paste it in this location.
2. In the same location (C:WindowsSystem32) ensure that the files SpaceClaimPreviewHandler.dll, SpaceClaimViewCore.dll, SpaceClaimViewMisc.dll are not present. If they are, delete them from this location.
3. Go to C:Program FilesANSYS Incv201scdm and check if files SpaceClaimPreviewHandler.dll, SpaceClaimViewCore.dll, SpaceClaimViewMisc.dll are available or not. If not, download them from the attached folder and paste it in this location.
4. Download register.bat from the attached folder and copy it in C:Program FilesANSYS Incv201scdm folder. Once done, run this bat file in administrative mode. This will register the dlls and you should now be able to see the preview of scdoc files.
