I am getting the following error: Update of the Model component in static structural did not mark container as updated (final state is modified).

I dont quite understand what it means.
I am trying to do a static structural analysis on a component. I have tried many meshing techniques but somehow the solution doesn't converge anyway.

Can anyone help me figure this out?

Hi Medha,

The error message you're getting could be related to issues with the model setup or the state of the geometries within your project. Could you describe more about your model?

Also, check the following knowledge material that indicates that this error might be caused by the CAD modeling tool: SpaceClaim import fails with "Update failed for the Model component..." - Ansys Knowledge

To troubleshoot, you should check the model geometry to ensure there are no errors, review the mesh quality to improve convergence, and review the boundary conditions and loads to ensure they are applied correctly.
