Hi all,
I am performing some cohesive zone modeling for adhesive applications, and when solving I run into the following error - 'An error occurred inside the SOLVER module: general error'. To gain more information and debug I would typically review the solver output file, but no such file is being generated (see attached screenshot below). Any help on how to navigate this issue would be greatly appreciated. I would be happy to follow up with any additional information about the study set-up, if necessary.
Regards,
Jamie

Please right click on Solution-> Open Solver Directory Files and there try to open the Solve.out file. Sometimes if the file size is too large then the output won't be displayed and you might need to open the file from the folder.

When you are using Interface delamination, don't use a multibody part. Un-share the parts
In workbench project page, Right click on geometry cell and select properties. Change the Analysis type from 3D to 2D

I can see another error regarding contact scope elements having no elements. Can you check your contacts and verify if they are properly defined.
Regards,
Nanda.
