Hi,
I am a newer student and I have a question about how to code in commands or APDL script. I am not proficient at all and I have been looking in all the forums and help pages but I can not figure it out.
I want to run a simulation until it the simulation is complete and then I want to delete elements and continue the simulation where it finished. I want to continue off on the last step of the build with deleted elements to see how the build's stress will increase. Is this possible and, if so, how would I code this?
Thank you

The method is to use the EKILL command to remove elements and then continue the solution in the next step.
Type that word into the Search bar at the top of this page to find many links to discussions on this command.
