Hello, while I was creating some images of my results through the function image to file, it stopped working properly. It occurred randomly without me changing anything. From now on, the only way to get an image with visible text is to tick the box current graphic display and show preferences dialog box in the image to file preferences.
Â
This produces an image with the default settings. Expanding and changing the current graphic display options results in no text being visible next to the legend, on the scale bar or on the global axes to the right. Changing the graphic options or resetting them does not solve the problem and it appears in all my workbench projects.Â

if it was working before, and suddenly stopped, there could be some driver related issue here.Â
Can you see if the following works from Scripting window:
Export Result Images to Files-Aniket

November 7, 2024 at 12:15 pmkostarak25SubscriberI tried the scripting approach to force my preferred image parameters. It does not work. I have the same problem as before when i used gui. The text remains invisible, as shown in the example picture at the original post, except only if i choose the default options within the code.ÂThe interesting thing that I noticed is that it happens only for solution results. If i try to export the model as an image with any parameters it works just fine.

Update : Uninstalling and reinstaling ansys through the uninstall program in its file does not fix the problem.
Â
List of other things that i tried :
-Changing the current display options through the image to file ribbon
-Changing the graphical options in the right top corner of mechanical
-Resetting these options
-Resetting project layout
-Resetting all cells of the project
-Deleted C:\Users\"User_name\appdata\Local\Ansys in an attempt to reset other settings
Â
I will keep trying and i will update if a solution is found.
