      Hello,

I am trying to use PDF package to read an LSDYNA binout file. All the online documentaion is discussing how to read the built in files in the DPF server. I need to read a local file on my device. Can you please provide the commands used for this purpose.

      Thanks

      Hi Fady

First PyLSDyna is still ‘in beta’ and has not been released to the public.  So post-processing with PyDPF-Core may not work; change at a later time; etc…but please see the ‘Datasource’ function here:

      https://dpf.docs.pyansys.com/version/0.8/api/ansys.dpf.core.data_sources.html

p.s. opening a d3plot should work, I'm not sure if any other binout files are supported yet.
