I have Ansys 2021 R1 installed on a Linux server, but it won’t run. Previous versions did not have a problem, and the installer for this version completed successfully. Any ideas? See below:

Also, check the prerequisites in the installation guide for the version you are installing.
Does an install.err exist under /ansys_inc
February 15, 2022 at 5:44 pmrainwadjSubscriberIt's installed on a file server running OpenSUSE Leap 15.2 in /usr/local, which is exported via NFS to various clients running CentOS 7.
No install.err in /ansys_inc
I don't think I've seen an installation guide. I just ran the INSTALL script as I've done for previous versions, and it completed successfully.

The issue is most likely caused by missing OS library named libpng12 in CentOS.
