Hello guys, I am very much new with ansys products but I am currently trying my hands on the simulation of gas turbine plant with a research topic on design and simulations of the dynamic behavior of gas turbine power plant for performance optimization. Please, expert guild how to start this process. I am stuck. I tried a 3D model of the setup but have the challenge of applying the boolean tool in design modeler. What kind of model would be perfect for a good simulation.

You may want to review the Learning content first. In 20+ years I've never seen anyone try and model the whole engine in one go in a CFD tool.Â

Thank you very much. Indeed I really need to learn. So how do I start the model to give me the needed result. Thanks

Start by reviewing the basics and Introduction courses. That will give you a better idea of what can be done, and an understanding of how. From there you can decide which part of the engine you really want to study, and whether that's sensible given time and compute resources. This may take a few days. Only then start on your model.Â
