SubscriberI notice the ENTERPRISELICENSING_2024R1_LINX64.tgz download no longer provides the interconnect license executables (ansysli_server, ansysli_monitor, ansysli_util)Â Also, the "start_ansysli" has been replaced by the "start_ansyslmd" script.
I did not find any notice about this change in the documentation. I guess the interconnect server is gone. It has not been used by Ansys programs released since 2021. But older versions did use the interconnect server and asks about it during installation.
Will old versions of Ansys run OK using the 2024R1 license server? I made a simple test with 2019R3 and it seems to run OK.

Ansys EmployeeHello Dyat,Â
A few changes are being made in the latest update.Â
Starting 2024R1, Ansys no longer specify Licensing Interconnect.Â
Yes, you are correct, it hasn't been used since the 2021 release.Â
The updates were briefly circulated on the Ansys customer portal.Â
Reference, slide 5: https://support.ansys.com/Components/DownloadFile?file=/WhatsNew/2024R1/2024R1-Licensing.pdf
You should be able to use almost every version as long as you have the correct setup and valid licenses.Â
