SubscriberHi,
I am specifying the Velocity Inlet Boundary Condition in Fluent Solver. The wind velocity direction for the domain from the inlet is defined as a component (1 m/s) in the x-direction but the blue arrows that show the boundary condition are pointing in a direction perpendicular to the inlet surface.
Am I doing anything wrong? I am attaching a screenshot. Thanks.

AdministratorHello,nThis is simply marking your inlet and outlet boundaries - inlet highlighted in 'Blue' and outlet in 'Red'. I'd recommend that you run your simulation and have a look at the velocity vectors to understand the flow direction. This will make it clear.nThank you.nKarthiknDecember 17, 2020 at 4:15 amsmalbro93
SubscriberThank you for the response. I will check the streamlines then. Thank you.nViewing 2 reply threads- The topic ‘Wind Velocity Direction in the Inlet doesn’t match.’ is closed to new replies.
