SubscriberThe general species transport conservation equations in the manual is in Chapter 7
Is there a need to change the default Schimdt number of 0.7 while modeling non-reacting mixing of two fluids with same density and viscosity but with different inlet conditions with transition SST? Does solving non-reacting species transport mean that only transfer based on advection is solved excluding the last two terms in the equation along with turbulent diffusion while using transition SST? Also how different it is from solving multiphase model for the same problem?

Forum ModeratorThe whole point of multiphase models is that they don't mix, at least not at the molecular level so you'll see inertial and stratification effects.Â
