INITIAL CONDITIONS

hello, I'm given the following initial conditions inside car of volume 3.4 m^3:

I'm facing problems in  implementing  these conditions in fluent???

1-Is 40,000ppm equivalent to 0.04 as mole fraction?

2- do I have to apply tthese conditions in cell zone part and add source term?if yes how to convert unit from ppm to kg/m^3.s?

      any help will be appreciated!

Initial conditions are set at initialisation, they are not source terms. Source terms are equivalent to boundary conditions but are applied to cell zones rather than surfaces.

Suspended particles are a different matter. Are they large enough to worry about or do they just move with the fluid? There are several different ways to account for these, ranging from not bothering to a full multiphase analysis.

then I shall use standard initialization for CO2?

suspended matter have a size less than 2.5 micrometers ,how shall i do that?

      thanks dear!

You need to define the boundaries based on what you know. I assume you know flow into the room, and one of leakage or flow out. Note, leakage wil need a boundary and unless you want to mesh the gaps around the doors it may be easier to omit it.

Breathing is then a transient effect, with a mass flow, but also includes inhalation. You may want to rethink what you're trying to find out.
