SubscriberHello,
A few days ago, our lab renewed the ANSYS license and got an error while trying to update the new license.
We use ICEM CFD 14.5.7 and Fluent 14.5.7 and ANSYS License Manager 17.0 and there was no issue using these versions of the software and the license manager last year.
However the following error occurs when we start ICEM CFD. We have checked the new license file has been updated correctly.
Is this because new license from this year does not support ICEM CFD 14.5.7 and Fluent 14.5.7 and/or ANSYS License Manager 17.0? Thank you.

You cannot use this function because a valid license for the mesh editor was not found. Please make sure your license server is running and that you have a valid and available FEATURE or INCREMENT line for "aienv", "aimed", or "med". If you are an academic user with a valid academic key, please verify that the "User's License Preferences" are set to "Use Academic Licenses".
