The Ansys Charge Plus (previously known as Ansys EMA3D Charge) Getting Started self-paced course covers the fundamental concepts of Ansys Charge Plus™ electromagnetic charging and discharge simulation software starting in Ansys Discovery™ 3D product simulation software. This course provides guidance on creating basic geometry and circuit elements, setting up the computational domain, defining excitations and arcing regions, and simulating air breakdown problems with a combination of the finite difference time domain (FDTD) solver and non-linear air chemistry physics. Ansys Charge Plus software capabilities of simulating ESD (electrostatic discharge) and HV (high voltage) breakdown problems make it a highly applicable software for the electronics and HV industries.
