This course will introduce the simulation of welding using Ansys LS-DYNA® nonlinear dynamic structural simulation software. It will cover how to define a moving welding heat source, thermal contact between welding parts, welding material models, and the general setup of a welding process. The course includes practical examples to help you become familiar with these techniques.
