Hook Optimization with Ansys Mechanical in Ansys Workbench in Ansys optiSLang Software

You will get an overview about the usage of connecting Ansys optiSLang® process integration and design optimization software and Ansys Workbench™ simulation integration platform. For this application we will use a Hook. Moreover, a Sensitivity Analysis and a Single-Objective Optimization of this Hook will be conducted.

Learning Outcomes:

Following completion of this workshop, you will be able to:

• Automatize Ansys Workbench platform (Mechanical) in the Ansys optiSLang application (using the “Go to optiSLang” Button in Ansys Workbench platform).
• Make use of the benefits of Concurrent Parametric Design Point Variations provided with the Ansys optiSLang Premium and Enterprise Level.
• Use of Sensitivity and Optimization Wizards in Ansys optiSLang software to set up the Algorithms.
• Use optimization on the MOP.
• Understand Information of the Postprocessing for Sensitivity and Optimization.

Prerequisites:

• Completion of Ansys optiSLang Getting Started course.
