Ansys nCode DesignLife Getting Started

This course shows the procedure to use the Mechanical Embedded DesignLife UI for Ansys nCode DesignLife. The Embedded UI allows you to set up, solve, and post-process basic stress-life and strain-life fatigue analyses using the Ansys nCode DesignLife solver without leaving the Ansys Mechanical™ structural finite element analysis software environment.

Learning Outcomes:

After completing this course, you will be able to:

• Describe the end-to-end solution procedure for stress-life analysis with Ansys nCode DesignLife in Ansys Mechanical.
• Describe the end-to-end solution procedure for strain-life analysis with Ansys nCode DesignLife in Ansys Mechanical.
• Recognize the importance of several nCode DesignLife solution setup options, including mean stress correction, multiaxial assessment, and load mapping.

• Ansys Mechanical Getting Started: Basics course.
