Why can’t I plot a single sector when using Cyclic Symmetry?

You cannot use the Cyclic Symmetry modeling method to obtain a single sector plot as it always creates a duplicate sector. You would need to build and analyze the whole model and then select a portion of the geometry for post processing to get a plot that includes just the selected portion of the model. There will be no duplicate sector with the full model. If you use the Cyclic Symmetry modeling method in ANSYS Mechanical APDL it always creates the duplicate sector which requires use the /CYCEXPAND command for post processing.
