      The simplest method to create a new material in ANSYS nCode DesignLife is to: 1. Duplicate a similar material that is already defined in Engineering Data, 2. Give the duplicated material a unique name, and then 3. Modify the properties. With this method, the ANSYS nCode DesignLife correct material type number is automatically assigned.
