When setting Schaeffer’s Frictional Viscosity in the Eulerian model, the maximum volume fraction of the granular phase is defined by the Friction Packing Limit. When Friction Packing Limit is exceeded, the viscosity due to the friction between the particles is taken into account. For further details, please refer to the documentation in the ANSYS Fluent 17.1 Theory Guide section 17.5.13.4.
