      The quality factor is computed for each element of a model (excluding line and point elements). This metric is based on the ratio of the volume to the edge length for a given element. A value of 1 indicates a perfect cube or square while a value of 0 indicates that the element has a zero or negative volume. This mesh metric is not used by Simulation in the meshing process.
