What is Reference Strain rate as seen in Johnson Cook model?

Reference Strain Rate is the strain rate where strain rate effect to a material is very small and can be ignored. If user is using the Johnson Cook material property data from the Explicit Materials library in Engineering Data, user should not change the Reference Strain Rate. This is because all the Johnson Cook material data in the library were fit from experimental data based upon this Reference Strain Rate. However, if user is conducting his own experiments to get his/her own property data for Johnson Cook material model, user can change the Reference Strain Rate to get the best fit to his/her experimental data.
