      In this video, we will see how you can display the direction fields plot (LIC – Line integrated convolution plots), to display directionality on a surface based on the vector. For fluids, direction field is a more advanced display than streamlines. For example, where streamlines produce lines from particle flow, direction field produces a whole image at every step. For thermal results, it shows the heat flux vector field, while for structural results, it displays the displacement vector information.
