In a contact why the specified keyopt,cid,9,4 to ignore the initial geometrical clearance does not help?

      For CONTA174 ANSYS Help mentions that ‘The indicated initial gap effect Keyo(9) is considered only when Keyo(12) = 4 or 5. If one is using frictional or frictionless contact then initial gap effect using Keyo(9) may not work. Try to use keyo(5) or define offset in ‘Interface treatment’ option in contact.
