In versions 18.1 and lower Forte Launches the TDC and BDC calculations in parallel. The second calculation fails with a license error, but the error message is only visible in the log files. The workaround is to run the BDC calculation manually. This can be done by switching to no-hydro mode and running a single step with the initial run crank angle set to the BDC position. The calculated volume can be found in the thermo.csv file. If you load the file in Excel, the calculated in-cylinder volume appears in Column Q.
