      There are situations when user has to work with materials definitions that are not part of standard Ansys Electronics Desktop installation, for example proprietary or corporate definitions. Electronics Desktop recognizes two user-configurable library structures, called the User Library and the Personal Library. A root library directory is set up at installation. If none is specified, the default is the root Electronics Desktop directory. Standard materials definitions are stored in system library as Materials.amat file. The default location of the library is C:Program FilesAnsysEMAnsysEMWin64syslib. To make user defined material library available, place the *amat file in either PersonalLib or userlib and specify the locations of the libraries in Options>General Options > Directories. Materials from libraries in both the User Library and Personal Library, as well as the System Library, are available for use in projects.
