We have an exciting announcement about badges coming in May 2025. Until then, we will temporarily stop issuing new badges for course completions and certifications. However, all completions will be recorded and fulfilled after May 2025.

Derive relative permittivity and conductivity from complex refractive index. Start with complex refractive index to derive the real and imaginary parts of relative permittivity. Use the real part of relative permittivity to define the permittivity of the material and use the imaginary part of relative permittivity to derive the conductivity that you will use in the material definition. See attached for more detail.
