FAQ
ParticipantThere is not a direct or global way to change font size in Workbench. Here are some suggestions; 1. Most of the items in this window have a fixed size defined in pixels relative to the overall size of the Workbench Window and so the screen resolution determines the size shown. Therefore one method to make them bigger is to reduce the display resolution. 2. Since the Workbench menus display OK on the Linux machine here it could be that you do not have the full set of fonts installed on their machine. The font path searched can normally be found in the file /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fs/config (on SuSe Linux). You should also check for any settings in ”$HOME/.Xdefaults” which might be changing the default fonts. 3. It could also be that your machine has an out of date graphics driver. Therefore it is recommended downloading the latest driver from the website of their graphics card manufacturer and then running Workbench again. 4. You can change your font settings in Linux. For example, in KDE it is at the control center > font. For example try ARIAL size 10. 5. It is possible that you XWindows display is causing the change in font size. is it possible to launch on the Linux as a local display to check? And if your XServer is the cause, maybe there are settings within that software.
