      This approach works well for the flows where the dispersed particle phase closely follows the continuous phase flow, with the particle relaxation time being much shorter than the characteristic time of the continuous phase flow. The ratio of the particle relaxation time over the flow’s characteristic time, which is Stokes number, is typically required to be smaller than 0.01.
