      LS-DYNA stores other history variables in place of “plastic strain” for *MAT_ELASTIC and *MAT_RIGID. Those materials are purely elastic and purely rigid, respectively; they are incapable of developing any plastic strain whatsoever. Thus, the quantities under the heading “plastic strain” should be ignored for those materials.
