The following lists of How To’s
video tutorials have been carefully selected to help you gain the most from Discovery Live for your chosen application. Getting Started is a nice overview of the UI and all included physics simulations and the geometry editing interface. After that you can return to this list to dive deeper into each individual topic, or from the lists on the right.
1) How to change units
Go to File – Live Options – Units and under “Type” option you can select either Imperial or Metric unit system. Please refer below image which shows this option.
2) How to get average or mean value of results plotted in chart
To get an average or mean value of chart results, left click inside the chart and drag the cursor inside the chart area. The selected range will be highlighted and its min, max and mean value will be displayed.
3) How To modify an External aerodynamics simulation enclosure
How to change the size of the enclosure that is created when running an external aerodynamics simulation. Selecting the faces of the enclosure to apply a boundary condition such as slip symmetry in order to replicate a moving ground plane.
