People around the world are using ANSYS Discovery Live in their design workflows and they are kind enough to share their stories with us here. Watch these videos below to gain an understanding of what ANSYS can help you Discover.
1) Discovery Live: Case Study Overview
Discovery Live is a groundbreaking approach to design, allowing anyone to incorporate engineering simulation earlier into product development. It’s lets uses ideate, innovate, iterate and test their concepts and design direction like no other product let’s them do.
2) Rossignol and ANSYS Discovery
Rossignol has a team of engineers that work with skiers, designers and others to create new products. Of course, time to market is critical for them in terms of the ski season. With ANSYS Discovery they realized that their engineers could assess changes in real-time and discuss them with the other team members to rapidly explore designs. What was previously a longer and more individual exercise became collaborative not just among engineers, but with every team member benefiting from simulation insight. The engineers could literally capture feedback from the skiers as they came off the slopes and Discovery gave them a joint language to explore product performance. Watch this video to learn more about their story.
3) Wibotic and ANSYS Discovery Live
Wibotic is an innovative company in a fast moving industry — they build autonomous battery charging systems for aerial drones. They turned to ANSYS Discovery to ensure their designs were adequately performing, have a greater confidence in their product, and ultimately to decrease their time to market.
4) TEN TECH LLC Lattice Structure Design
TEN TECH LLC used ANSYS Discovery Live to assess the performance of a patented design they are bringing to the market for the Aerospace & Defense Embedded Electronics Industry
5) Astec and ANSYS Discovery
The performance of an asphalt plant depends upon the interaction of many different processes. Astec has made substantial improvements in its ability to accurately simulate these different processes, generating large quantities of disparate data whose impact on the design issues at hand is often difficult to understand. Astec brings meaning to this data by combining results from different simulation tools and different design alternatives. Animations, graphs and explanatory text are merged into a single composite image using ANSYS EnSight. This gives the decision-maker everything he or she needs to know to improve product performance. In this case study video, you will see how one of their engineers used ANSYS Discovery to test several design iterations and finalize a solution, much faster than they otherwise could have done.
