This Discovery AIM tutorial shows a structural analysis of a pipe assembly loaded by fluid flow and thermal effects. The simulation demonstrates the use of a custom template (developed by a methods engineer) and expressions to streamline the simulation process for rapid design of a piping assembly by a non-expert. After running the custom template, the design engineer is only required to follow the To Fix directions in the UI to assign locations and complete the analysis.
