ANSYS SpaceClaim: How to change thickness of sheet metal?

    • FAQFAQ

To change the sheet metal thickness of your design, go to your Structure tree and select your design. Once selected, a properties tab will appear below the structure tree options (refer attached screenshot for the locations of the structure tree and properties tab). In the properties tab, you will see a value for Thickness, which you can then change. Note: This method is for changing the sheet metal properties of your current design and will not be applied to future sheet metal parts. If you want to change the sheet metal properties for all future designs, go to SpaceClaim Options and select the Sheet Metal tab. There you will find all the default settings for your sheet metal designs in SpaceClaim. If you change the thickness, you would most likely want to change the bend radius to the value of the thickness.
