  3. If I launch SpaceClaim from the Workbench geometry cell, then go to ‘File->Open’ and bring in an external CAD file, then close SCDM, it does not connect the geometry to Workbench. Why?

      This is a remnant of the fact that SpaceClaim works in both standalone mode outside of Workbench, and also from within Workbench. To get around this, right-click on the geometry cell and import the external CAD file. Then you will see a green check mark on the geometry cell, and you can launch SpaceClaim by double-clicking it.
