Question: I am doing a workshop on the rigid body dynamics. I am trying to use the RBD results on to a static analysis using “Export Motion Loads”. My static analysis can import all the loads needed, but the analysis won’t converge if I follow all the steps in the tutorial. Only if I add a fixed support, I can get covergence. Can you please tell me if the fixed support addition is needed or not. Workshop tutorial shows results even without any support. Answer: Try resolving static structural after turning on Weak springs (Mechanical >> Analysis Settings >> Solver Controls >> Weak Springs >> On )
