      There is no theoretical limitation that would apply to DED or any other Additive Manufacturing machine. If the scan vectors can be read correctly, there’s no reason why Scan Pattern-based strain wouldn’t also work to provide more fidelity. But please note that the thermal portions wouldn’t work correctly. Note that DED cannot be currently used in Additive Print.
