Is there a possibility to reduce the buffer zone factor (less than 2) when using arbitrary crack?

Usually, reducing the buffer zone factor is not desirable, especially in a SMART crack growth analysis. However, the buffer zone reference size depends on the bounding box of the arbitrary crack geometry (surface body). Keep the arbitrary crack geometry as small as possible to keep the buffer zone reference size to a minimum. But the buffer zone factor cannot be reduce to a value less than 2.
