A mesh object does not include engineering data so it cannot connect to an analysis that requires engineering data. Instead of a mesh object, it needs to be a mechanical model object. You can convert an existing mesh object to a mechanical model by picking the drop down arrow in the upper left corner of the mesh object and picking Replace with > Mechanical Model.
