      End time is a user input (Required input). One should enter a reasonable estimate to cover the phenomena of interest. It’s at the user’s discretion. One recommendation would be to do a modal analysis first with the boundary conditions included and get the first fundamental frequency which can then be used to calculate the total time using the relation: T=1/f.
