For modeling a filter, where particles clings, you need a porous media to model the pressure drop and filtering characteristics and Lagrangian Particle Tracking-Model for modeling the particles. The absorption of particles can be taken in account by adding a subdomain to the porous domain. In the subbomain-tab fluid sources set the minimum absorption diameters to a constant value. All particles with a diameter below this value disappears from the calculation.
