There are 3 easy ways to do this: 1) Directly in Fluent by displaying a velocity contour on the wall, with node values disabled. This will show the values of the cell centroids adjacent to the wall. 2) In CFD-Post with a user-defined surface. You can use the “offset from surface” option, with surface-normal as the direction. Specify the normal offset distance, and the velocity will be interpolated to that surface. 3) EnSight has the same offset surface feature as CFD-Post, available under ‘create->elevated surfaces’ menu option.
