      Hi Sushan,

I did not see any question in your post. Can you repost if you have nay query.

      Hi Navya,

My query is: I am trying to excite my coils (transmitter) in WPT application from circuit designed in simplorer after adding maxwell componenet (eddy current dynamic link) in it. I have kept current excitation (in maxwell) as 0A in windings. However, I cannot see any magnetic field plots in maxwell. So when maxwell-simpolorer are coupled and when I run the Transient or AC analysis in simplorer, there should be some magnetic filed plots right
due to current from circuit as they are coupled? Inputs will be very helpful.

      Thanks and regards

      Hello Sushan,

For cosimulation , we would be defining the type of excitation as External in Maxwell, "Advance product coupling" in the design setting has to be enabled. This model can be imported into simplorer and connected with the circuit. To visualize the field, please save the field and run the model.

      Hi Reshmi,

Is it that it is only possible between Transient solver - simplorer cosimulation as "Advance product coupling" has only that option. Isnt that possible with Eddy solver- simplorer cosimulation?

      Thanks and Regards

      Hi,

      Kindly provide some inputs.

      Hello Sushan,

When we couple with eddy current, what we are doing is to first carry out an analysis by either varying the frequency or by parameterizing the input quantity. Simplorer helps us to create a Reduced order model from this simulation. So when we run the simplorer model with the eddy current component, first it runs the eddy current model to generate the ROM and use this ROM for system simulaiton.

Each instant of time that get simulated in simplorer the ROM model is being used of, so the field cannot be seen in eddy current for these instant of time, but can be seen for the initial analysis carried out in Eddy current solver.
