Forum ModeratorStart by sketching out what you want to model, along with what you know of the process. Then do the various Fluids courses (I'd focus on the solver plus anything that looks useful based on your sketch) in Learning. From there fill in everything else you need to build the model on your sketch and ask for/find anything that's missing (dosing rates for example). Then turn on the computer and start modelling.Â
Having looked up what vpmf is I'd also review the various particle models and decide if you really want to model the filter in detail or can use porous media (which is explained in the Fluent User's Guide - click on Help in Fluent).Â
