SubscriberTrying to find out how to visualise pathlines across all periodic instances. I have found the periodic instances option in View - Display - Periodic Instances , but this only provides the option to show the boundaries. Not the pathlines or other result visuals. Is this possible? Could anyone assist?

Forum ModeratorRotational should work, I think translational is in being looked into.Â

SubscriberThanks Rob, I am indeed looking for rotational but not sure how to apply it. Are you able to assist?

Forum ModeratorIt should be in the Views once you've got the object created. I'll double check. We're very limited on what we can support on the public forum due to Export Law restrictions.Â

SubscriberOh, I found a solution on our customer support space. Was actually not aware of this facility. In any case it there does not seem to be a direct solution but seems to be a workaround, rotating mesh, appending case and data, fusing and repeating for all instances. A little bit of a mission unless there is a better solution in later release?

Forum ModeratorNo, the repeats are supposed to take pathlines too. It's been a while since I last tried rotational periodic so it's possible the Object approach broke something. Hence needing to check.Â

Forum ModeratorIt looks like the Pathline Objects aren't being picked up by the periodic instancing. I'll raise internally.Â

Forum ModeratorYes, it's been flagged. The pathline object isn't picked up by the periodic graphics tools.Â
